IIRC, you can buy new console pieces from either Ray Crow at Malloy or at www.mazdatrix.com. So far i've only seen the shifter panel and a/c panel, but not the speedo panel, though i'm sure its possible to get it.

I bought the new shifter panel from mazdatrix and it was $95.00. Showed up and it wasn't even the same finish (I have a 93 and they changed the coating in 94 and 95). Now it's just sitting in my garage in the box. There are some threads about refinishing and stripping the panels too. Some people use a stripper that is used in model car painting.
Mahjic has a good write up on how to do it too.
