for a quick fix try duct tape.

or a find a small piece of metal and screw it down on top. There was someone not to long ago that was selling a piece to go over that hole with different designs in it.

You do know that hole is for the stock air box, and all stock FDs lose air to the intake through said hole right? That aside, if you have an aftermarket intake, plugging it will help get air into the IC, I'd just get a sheet of plastic or metal and epoxy it over it.

Epoxy does not bond to that polyethylene stuff, used silcone sealant and some screws or rivets

Here's what I did... got some .1" sheet of plastic (white) from a local hobby store... cut it to fit over the hole and fasten it with plastic screws. Paint it all high temp black and presto... (pic is from my old setup).

Edit: I forgot to add that I used a 1/4" wide strip of thin weather stripping around the IC "hole" to seal it up properly.

Get some gaffers tape. That stuff is awesome. And don't worry about sucking it in...since you can't.

Please, for the love of Pete, don't use duct tape on your car! That's mighty damn ghetto. It's very easy, cheap, and quick to do the job right - get a piece of metal, cut to shape, drill holes and use self-tapping screws to attach.

take a small pice of s. metal, make some holes 5/32, buy some ribets from home depot and window strip " the foam arround the home windows arround 99 cents a roll" and cover it, at the end paint it black, thats what i did about 4 years ago and looks better than d. tape

Take out the duct and fiberglass it. I cut out the AC thingy too. Huge Huge difference. I can feel air moving through it in a breeze.
