a good way to plug up this IC hole
whell its not like the ic has a hole itself but ull see in the pic... i dont want to drive it much like that because i know the IC isnt getting all the air it needs so i was wondering what to do for a quick fix for now...
for a quick fix try duct tape.
or a find a small piece of metal and screw it down on top. There was someone not to long ago that was selling a piece to go over that hole with different designs in it.

You do know that hole is for the stock air box, and all stock FDs lose air to the intake through said hole right? That aside, if you have an aftermarket intake, plugging it will help get air into the IC, I'd just get a sheet of plastic or metal and epoxy it over it.

i got one other question... could this be a reason for the car to some what over heat under hard driving?.. since the ic isnt getting all the air? i will fine out 2morrow after i exparement with it ... because when i wot n then look at the temp gauge even tho u guys say its not acurate untill its to late.. it went up a lil so as i stop or cruise it stays normal.. just throwen that out there
Here's what I did... got some .1" sheet of plastic (white) from a local hobby store... cut it to fit over the hole and fasten it with plastic screws. Paint it all high temp black and presto... (pic is from my old setup).
Edit: I forgot to add that I used a 1/4" wide strip of thin weather stripping around the IC "hole" to seal it up properly.

but mines a lil diff than u guys.. u guys just have a hole on the top.. i have also a hole on the left side.. where it curvs if u can take a good look its not just the top
Please, for the love of Pete, don't use duct tape on your car! That's mighty damn ghetto. It's very easy, cheap, and quick to do the job right - get a piece of metal, cut to shape, drill holes and use self-tapping screws to attach.
