going non-sequential on a twin turbo..

First off id like to say Hi as this is my first post ....

Ok ive had my rx now for about a month and all seems to be going ok (apart from a very bad idle problem which ive now sorted)...

Ive been reading various threads on this forum and come accross a few people going on about going non-sequential...Until finding this site i had'nt heard anyone mention it before,is this a common mode over there in the states ?

What are the benefits of this and is a worth while mod to make...Is there a guide to doing this as the rats nest of hoses would be a nightmare to sort otherwise..

Thanks

gavin.. ..

First post, first RTF flame

In the FAQ thread, https://www.rx7club.com/3rd-generation-specific-1993-2002-16/faq-3rd-gen-other-useful-links-68640/, look under N for nonsequential and P for poor man's nonsequential (the reversible version)

Personally, the sequential turbos are a major feature of the car, and I won't even consider it. I can however appreciate that others can go through major problems getting the stock setup to work, so many switch to nonseq for that reason. Its got more lag, and kicks in later. The poor mans kicks in the latest.

If simplification is on your mind, I suggest looking into a manual boost controller and the simplified sequential (non-emissions) setup.
