Going non-seq question about rats nest
Hey everyone!
Ok here's what currently modified on my car (that will pertain to this thread):
-3"dp to 3.7"resonated mp to a 3"cat back, power fc, removed air pump, a/c, p/s, and a bunch of other goodies
over the winter I wiil be:
going non seq, porting everything I can , radiator upgrade, fmic, fully custom intake system.
Now to the meat and potatoes. I did searches about removing the rats nest, and found out about it, but not what could be removed. What to remove is what I am having problems with. Could someone point me in the right direction with the picture I am providing?? (thumbnail1)
Second question is about the throttle body as seen in thumbnail 2. I noticed that the coils look rather loose. Is this normal??
Thanks for your time everyone
Edwin

Chunk it all, man. Trash it. Burn it - oh, wait, it's already pretty cooked. You will, actually, probably end up trashing the entire rack, since there's very little left that you need for the non-sequential.
If you do decide to eliminate the rack itself, it provides the mounting points for the coil pack as well as, IIRC, the feed line for the turbo(s) oil supply. You'll probably want to make a new line, or buy one from KG parts. A standard 3/8" NPT pipe to -4AN adapter will screw into the front housing oil feed hole, and you can work from there.
For the coil pack, I made some aluminum spacers to mount the pack on, or if you search you can find some info on the coil relocation project - I think it was called "Coil relocation bracket - gauging interest"
Someone a few months ago did a very nice non-sequential vacuum diagram - I can't find the thread. Anyone know who it was?

I'm a CF and poop smith
i highly suggest unplugging one thing and then driving for about 500 miles, if its fine, pull another thing out. this way youd ont have to go thru the headache of trying to figure out what really jacked your car up and where everything goes.
