Earth, I drive an hour and fifteen minutes one way to work all the time. IMHO cruising down the highway with all that fresh air, non stop and go, is probably the easiest on all the components in your car. I think you'll be fine. Tom

Uh, I drove from Miami to Seattle no prob, so I doubt you have anything to worry about. I put in a couple 10+ hour days too.
Changed the oil 3 times enroute and averaged about 21mpg.

Went to go to Ft Laudie/Coral/Boca area last December to hang out with friends, had no problems at all. Had to pull to a rest area and sleep in the hatch on the way back though, since i only had $75 bucks left, and couldnt swing for a hotel room or anything.
Long story short, you should have no problems, just make sure your not sleepy driving back.

Long Distance
I regularly drive my 88 Convertible and my 94 Touring between South Carolina and Philadelphia. Stopping only for gas or food. I made one trip in the 88 from Montreal Canada to SC (also non-stop except for gas/food). My 88 has 200K miles on it and I still drive relatively long distance 2.5 hours each week to an apartment from home and back. The most recent trip I've made in the 94 was this July from SC to NYC and back.
RX-7s are not made of glass. Drive them long and hard till the wheels fall off - then put the wheels back on and drive some more.
