I know a decent amount about cars, however I know nothing about rotary engines. I am going to look at a 93 Touring model. It is a 5 speed that has 98k miles on it. The engine and clutch were replaced 3k miles ago (mazda reman. engine) and the turbos were replaced at the same time with used ones from a 94 that had 14k miles on it (the guy with the 94 did a single turbo coneversion).
It has had 2 owners (both adults) no mods, "never raced". Bose/leather/power moon roof.

I've read that you need to let the engine warm up for a few minutes then after it has run it all the way to the red line and watch for hesitation. Then turn it off, wait a few minutes and start it again? Are there any other things that I should look for as far as the engine goes or anything prone to being wrong with used 3rd gens?
