Talking Going drag racing

Im going to california speedway on saturday 8-30-03 its the last summer session for the year. tech starts at 3pm and close at 7pm no car will be admitted after 7 pm.

Will this is going to be my first time running my fd at a legal track. What are some of the thing that i should do to prep my car for the 1/4 mile run.

Im planning on getting some racing gas, ngk iridium plugs 10's, turn up the boost to 1 bar. Also put a ice bag in the intake manifold after the run. And maybe even get a bottle of co2 the spray into my fmic.
Is there anything else?

thanks andrew

Sweet! Several of us locals are going that day as well! What time do you expect to get there? I'm not gonna run myself until I get everything in the car & dynotuned, but I'll be bringing my tools & a tire gauge
Hope to see you there.

My car is not tuned yet. Im going to do some datalogging after each run and tune the air/fuel.
I dont know what to expect. Maybe low 13's or high 12's.
I'll be in a dark blue fd with 99 front end and 99 tail lights.
Are any of your friends running?

I use to street race my car alot. I had to get my tranny rebuilt because my 5th gear was grinding. It cost me $950 for the rebuild. That without labor for pulling the tranny out.
