Bad idea. Did you not see the piece sitting beside the RX-7? That should be some indication in itself

By 'piece' you mean the other car? If so how would that determine the condition of the FD? I am gonna go look at it up close tonight and check it out.

he probably means it was not properly maintained/driven correctly....looks to me like another overpriced car at a lot.

by the way, ask the guy why the hell he takes pictures in the dark

Cars look better at night, less to see.

BTW it says sold on the upper right window. Makes me wonder if that was bought at an auto action.

^ yeah, in one pic it says Sold..then in the last pic its not there....alot of used car dealers buy from auctions, so i'd be careful about buying that 7...
plus buying from a dealer you're gonna get slammed with TTT Fee's, Dealer Fee..
i don't think anyone on here is gonna recommend buying it

'piece' is short for 'Piece of ****'. I was reffering to that ugly eclipse. Anyone that has a car like that, (F&F anyone?) you can bet he's probably beat the **** out of it and the RX-7 sitting next to it. I'm suprised the RX-7 doesn't have 22" spinners on it.

If he is a car dealer, and he's showing off by parking the FD next to that eclipse, then he is probably gonna want a ton of money for the RX-7. Not very a very tactful way to sell a car.

he may be a dealer that caters for everyone.

Do not take anything for granted. The car comes with a 1 year 12,000 mile warranty - which IMO (and experience) is the most important thing to owning an RX7. Check the turbos are covered as they will probably go soon (most warranties count turbo's as consumables and are not covered after 60k) and check everything else you need to when buying an RX7.

Last but not least, try not to get caught up in the fact its an RX7 and buy it just because you want it now and its there like i did. I did that and now i need a new engine.

If your gonna buy it, buy it because its a good'un - not because its cheap or pretty. But thats not too say good cars do not go for cheap, because that isnt true.

The proof is in the pudding - but dont be overcome by its sweetness in the first mouthful!

Warranty on a sports car is worthless IMO. THey can always say you did the damage and its up to you to prove it was their fault.
