this morning i went out to my car started it and began to roll the windows down... i stopped with the window about halfway open when i heard a really bad screech comin from the drivers side window... i put the window back up and theres a nice new scratch going straight up the middle... now my neighbors hate me and have vandalized my car be4( broke off the tip of a screwdriver in my drivers side doorlock) probably because my car is so fukin loud and i go to work at 6am but anyway...my question is could the glass be off track or can i chalk another 1 up to the neighbors? i figured if the glass was off track there would be more than 1 scratch right? and when i put the window down it sounds like some1 stuck a pebble in under the weatherstripping...

any1s window go off track be4? what did yours look like?

Its not likely that your glass is off track. Check your weatherstripping for rocks or metal. Once you are sure that it is clear, try the window again. If you still have a problem, it is time to remove the door panel and have a look.

 

what's up with your neighbors?? have you confronted them about vandalizing your car? I HATE that ****. as far as your window, like adam c said, just take off the door panel and have a look. if you have never taken the panels off before, do a search. there was a "how to" on it a few weeks ago with pics and everything.
