getting engines codes 11, and 54
11 is intake air thermosensor and 54 is the air pump relay. What does the air thermosensor do? Also could this be why my car idles bad some times? I know why the 54 is comming on, its because when I did the air pump removal I took out the relay for it.

You should get an FSM. A malfunctining intake air thermosensor can make cold starts difficult. It provides signals for fuel injection amount, igniter, and ***idle speed control***.
Could be a a poor connection or wiring issue. Could be a resistance issue with the sensor.

FSM = Factory Service manual. You can buy it from a dealer in 2 versions, a small handbook version, or a large binder version. If you want you can download it from rx7turboturbo.com and print it out. This manual is a must for anyone with an RX7. It shows how every piece of the car goes together, and how to check every switch/solenoid etc.
