I was in local racetrack here at Finland, and when i left driving home i noticed small "whining"? when i was cruising in 3rd gear. Sounds like car haves dogbox trans . Syncros are fine and gear sifting is really good.

What is you opinion? Is there main bearing failed or hole 3rd gear?

Gearbox are lowmileage jdm. Bearings are cheap, but are there any sense to start rebuild. Used jdm trannys arent cheap here in Finland...

 

I would like to know this as well. 3rd gear whine sound.
