My integra's gear won't go into R ! It's like the R is blocked ! It happened before but after I tried a few times, it would go in. But this time, it's completely blocked!! What should I do??? It won't go in even if the car's off !! I pressed the clucth all the way already, it just wouldn't go in!!! Help me!!!

 

Other gears are just fine!

When my trans went south I couldnt get it into Reverse either. Time for rebuild.

 

had the same problem....missed a shift to third...blew out reverse....completely welded it.

rebuild job cost me 800 smackaroos including labor.

My car is an integra and actually, the R gear is not completely blocked. It's just that it's hard to get in and out.
