i need a amp or for someone to tell me where i can wire a gauge so the light on the gauge comes on when the lights come on. It seems that all the fuses have 12v constant. Can someone tell where to wire this wire.

 

There is a spot where you can connect a blade terminal and get switched 12v. There's a pic in my water temp gauge install at http://www.davidgeesaman.com/

Oh, I see you want it running off the dimmer. In that case, find a component in the dash that comes on the way you want your gauge to do, and splice off the postive going to it.

 

I used one of the switch lights in the center console. My gauges come on with my lights, but I cannot dim them with that as a source.
