Help please,

1994 RX 7 The gauge cluster is not working, none of the needles move, reverse lights and tail lights do not light up, however the headlights are ok. The cluster is what worries me the most, I don't think the fuses have anything to do with it, or do they?

 

i have a similar problem with my '93. the lights of the gauge cluster light up, the oi pressure, fuel, and temp gauges work, but the speedo and tach needles are dead. i diagnosed it and found out that the speed sensor on the tranny went bad, so i have to replace it. i think that's the root of my problem but haven't had the chance to buy a new sensor yet so i'm not 100% sure yet. i don't know why your tail lights are messed up, maybe it's a whole other issue?

 

I've read a few posts about the sensor on here but I'm not sure if that is the issue in my 7. The oil press., fuel, temp, speedo, tach and even the odometer do not work. The cluster doesn't even light up. None of the needles move when the car is started. The whole cluster thing is dead, not only the speedo and the tach . The only things that are working are the boost gauge and the turbo timer.

Thanks telum01, I'll start with the sensor, may be some wire fell off or something.
