has anyone used gasket sealer for UIM to LIM connection? i think i have a leak (found with starter fluid) and am going to try some diy gasket thingy i picked up a while ago for something else tomorrow and might try some rvt gasket sealer later.

 

I woudln't use it, every time you have to take off the UIM your gonna have to replace the gasket with sealer. Just got to mazda and order a new one for like $13.00.

 

^ Agreed. The old paper one is crap, I'll give you. But the newer metal gaskets do a good job and last a long long time.
