Gas coming from FPD on ignition

What would cause this to happen. I recently have been working on doing the non-seq conversion. I followed the diagram as instructed blah blah blah, when I hook everything back up and try to start it up, the engine runs for about 2 seconds and dies out.

I then try to start it back up a minute later and the car wont even turn over.

I leave and come back 5 minutes later, I have a flashlight laying ontop of my UIM and as im trying to make the engine turn, I see liquid spraying from under the UIM. I get out and take a look and notice that the fuel pulsation dampener is wet, I then take a closer look and see that its bubbling....

Now, why all of a sudden is my FPD leaking gas everywhere and could this be the cause for my engine not starting up?

Thanks.

BTW if it helps, I pulled the ACV and the 3 way solenoid that was attached to it.

I had to mess with the fuel lines when pulling out the rats nest.... Could mixing the fuel feed and fuel return up cause this?
