Alternator coming soon I think. And I'm not sure why he didn't use T-clamps. To each his own.

Chrome the alternator, while it is being rebuilt, much easier. I like the constant torque clamps also.

Looks good David.

the alternator is going to be replaced with a polished one that puts out 160 amps at low rpm and 260 at high rpm . If the price and supply is good they will be for sale from an alternator builder that builds them for sound comp cars .

That is really coming together. Great, can't wait to get there and see it for real. The custom wiring harness keeps everything neat and clean.

Wow, thats awesome. I'm very impressed.

How about some exterior shots? Mods list for the stuff we can't see? (Fuel, engine management, exhaust, etc.)

The way the turbo outlet to the IC is the way it should be done. However, it ain't that easy to do to an M2 IC pipe that has compound bends to allow for the use of the airpumps.

Why does Garfinckle use another blowoff valve in the Greddy elbow?

For 20K miles, I was boosting at 13-14psi with the stock blow off valve.

After I pulled the turbo which had 100K miles of use with 20K on 13-14 psi, I didn't see any cause for concern with compressor surge damaging the turbo shafts. What was more of a concern was the exhaust eating away at the turbo manifold.

He has 3 blow off valves, so the turbos do not slow down between shifts .The two stock ones have had the springs changed so they are closed at idle .They open at 18-19 inches. so no lost air during idle and low revs .

That is a $ 10 belt and with homemade pullies you try cheap ones untill you find the correct size with out ordering several costly ones . When the high output alt is put in and the pully size is chosen then the better belts will be found . We went out to eat in the car tonight and the smooth power is a rush . As written above ,, glad to see there isnt any colorfull hoses .Do you see any rubber vacuum hoses at all beside the brake booster hoses .

Probably because they work just fine and that's what came with the ASP Racing medium IC he has...

Pardon my doubting, but the stock CRV and BOV are not "serviceable", in that they're plastic, fused together. Are you insinuating that he opened them up, tested springs until he found ones that wouldn't open until 18-19 inches of vacuum, and then closed them back up again? If so, does his engine pull 18-19 inches of vacuum? I know mine sure as hell didn't and I've never seen another rotary engine that did. Of course that doesn't mean one doesn't exist, but you'll forgive me for assuming that this sounds a little, shall we say... embellished?

Jim lab you of all people know that anything is serviceable . The crv and bov valve can be taken apart. He took them apart and then Rotorbrain gave him another black valve to respring so he would have two matching in color . The spring he found to work came from a small bore Yamaha motor cycle clutch . If you doubt then you will be incorrect .There are others that have some skill but none that come close to you . Garfinkle can do wonders if he had the time and money .Money is his bottleneck .

Whats in the custom-fitted tank in between the IC duct and intake? Overflow tank? Sprayer/WI injection source? OMP dedicated supply? James Bond oil slick?
