gapping between rad and condenser...

Installing FMIC Greddy without the official brackets...was wondering if there is a benefit to keeping more distance between the condenser and rad gap..or should they be as close as possible?

Thanks

...if you have a power fc with the commander you will see your water temps rise significantly be aware that the front mount greddy makes is excessively large and blocks most front airdam air flow to the radiator so do not be suprised if water temps rise a lot. oh and the condenser well just leave it at the stock gap ..i am sure mazda made it like that for a reason

Space between the cores will reduce the total amount of restriction of the "core stack", alllowing more air to flow through. More air means better cooling. Keep at least a little gap between them if possible. Also, if they are close enough to rub each other, they are likely to damage each other from the vibration.

i would think that with slower air velocities you would want to place ample gap for the fans to source cool air not the hotter air from the a/c condenser.....
