funny engine sound

I had a leaky primary fuel injector so I got 2 used ones and the primary fuel injector block off of a guy from the for sale section here. I put them in, no more leak (yay), and started putting everything back together. **brace yourself for the retarded part** so during the reinstall, I apparently broke some female connector off of something, its round. For the life of me, I couldnt figure out where it went, I couldnt find an empty plug, and I couldnt find any wires. I was feeling impatient, which I know isnt good, and never leads to good things. But anyway, I put the car back together anyway. Started up ok, took a minute of cranking, but I figured that was ok, cause it sat for about a month. Idled high for a few minutes, but after that it was back to normal, except for the CEL. I knew that I had that cause of the plug I had, and I figured Id just read the codes that the CEL flashed to figure out the problem.

I got 2 codes (if I read it right)

5 - Knock Sensor
34 - Idle speed control

I drove the car a little bit, gently, before I read the codes off, just to see if it exhibited any funny behavior. It makes virtually no power (limp mode is what I figured) and it makes a funny buzzing/whizzing sound from 2-3k rpms. It doesnt make the funny sound anywhere else. It does it during accel and decel. Other than all of that, it drives fine, no jerking, no bad idle. Just no power and the funny sound.

My question is, is it possible that the plug I broke off came from the Knock Sensor? I havent found where its at yet (havent looked too hard, Im about to leave to get food), and I did some searching on the Idle speed control, and I hear it can make a buzzing sound, is it possible that that is where the funny sound Im getting is coming from? Its pretty loud...didnt think it could be that loud. Anyway, Ill do more seaching when I get back, but any help from you guys would be appreciated. TIA.

The knock sensor is screwed into the front rotor housing, just above the trailling spark plug. It has one wire going to it. The car is gonna limp bigtime without the knock sensor hooked up!

The ISC is on the under side of the upper intake manifold. That shouldn't make the ECU go into limp mode, but could give you idle problems. You might have forgotten to plug it in when re-installing the intake manifold, or the connection slipped off in the reinstallation process.
