Funky no boost issues related to RPM
Ok...before you flame me and tell me to go search...I did and to be honest I really don't know what I am looking for...So instead of flames give me some direction and help me find the appropriate post
What's happening is that I notice if I am in 1st and I boost past 4200rpm I get no boots in the next upshit 2,3, or 4th...same for second...if I am in first and then boost past 4200rpm then I have to let the rpm drop to about 2500-2700rpm before I will get boost in the next grear..otherwise it just hangs at 0 or 1psi of boost when I am at wot...
My boost pattern is also kinda weird 9 - 5 or 6 - 10...drops slowly from 9 to 5 or 6...when I say slow I mean like two seconds.
Just so you know who you are talking to..I am the most ignorant sob on this forum and really don't know where to go looking for a CCV or any of those 3 letter acronyms...What do you think would be the best way to tackle this if I want to fix it myself? I wont be able to physically work on it for another 4 weeks but I want to have a good idea in my head what I am going to do before I go pulling it apart...
Thanks

The work shop manual is a good starting point, it will be a good refrence to all the acronyms everyone throws around. Try a search on manual, work shop manual and you can download it.
Hope this is what your looking for.
