Full SS Clutch Line
Full SS Clutch Line
I know there are the SS clutch lines that replace the rubber portion of the system, but are there full replacements that go from the reservoir to the slave? If not is likely there is no real improvement from doing so?
I know those lines are crazy hard to find for people doing the swap. There's no one that sells a ready to go setup, but I don't see any reason why it wouldn't work with no problems.
If you have a local hydraulic hose shop they can typically make brake lines for a very reasonable price. Years ago my rubber clutch line died and I got one made at a shop while I waited for like $20. Got me back on the road and it worked awesome, I ran it for quite some time until I eventually replaced it with a "store bought" hose.
All that said, you could use a string or wire to get a measurement of how long the hose needs to be and an example fitting for each end. The shop should be able to use that to make you a line and it shouldn't cost that much.
