Fujitsubo Legalis R Exhaust questions for a FD

Hi,

I have a pretty much stock RX7 Series 8 Type RS. Only modifications on the car are some Tein coilovers and a 3" catback exhaust at the moment. I was thinking to change my exhaust system, keeping the 3" catback but something a little more quiet. I am from Victoria Australia and the police and the EPA here can be quite strict on this issue.

I have done a search and came across two Fujitsubo exhuast that may be what I am after. They are called the Fujitsubo Legalis R, just under 92 db and the other under 88db. However, I was informed that these two exhaust systems are not catback exhaust. Are there any people on this forum who use the Fujitsubo Legalis R for a FD? I was told the piping was too short and is more likely a diff back?

Can anyone shed some light on this issue?

Thanks,

Jon

The first pic clearly shows a full cat-back.

Some mfrs sell their catback with a joint in the middle of that s-bend, adjacent to the diff, but it's not common to see one sold in separate parts.

Thanks Dave. That clears up alot. Does anyone recommend any other exhaust systems that aren't too loud. Around the 85db to 90db mark at about 4,000rpm would be good.
