Fuel Thermo Sensor question for the experienced!!!

Ok,
I installed a kgparts fuel system when I went single. There was no place on the secondary rail for the fuel thermosensor.
So I just snipped the connector off, I didn't dangle the sensor or anything, just cut it right off. So anyway, my PFC highlights the FTS as a bad sensor (of course)

My question is would this make my car run any differently? I have read different views in the searches, but no "This happened to me" experience.

Sometimes my car runs good, and sometimes it runs bad. Cant figure out the problem.

Anyway, a post with how my car is currently running can be found here:

If anyone can help, or has suggestions, please let me know.

With a DATALOGIC on SETTINGs 2 page, you will see the FUEL TEMPERATURE vs INJECTOR map.

It has only three rows:
60C run 102% fuel
40C run 100% fuel
20C run 100% fuel.

As you can read, the PFC only adds 2% more fuel when the fuel temp goes over 60C. Prorating gives 1% more fuel at 50C.

Not very much difference. People without a FTS and who have DATALOGIC access, modify this table to be 100% for 60C. Thus all being 100%, it will default to this.
They do not worry about the sensor being missing.

So this would not be causing my problem?

I know the stock ecu acts up when the fuel temp sensor is unhooked. So I am wondering if it is possible that the PFC does the same thing. Like dumps fuel when the sensor is unhooked.

I looked around to see if anyone was running resistors. But I have found nothing so far.

Thing is, we don't know if the PFC interpolates past this. He said previously that his FTS is registering 5V on the commander (not an "open" as he says here).

I don't have the voltage -> temp data nearby, so I don't know if 5V = 60C or if 5V = 120C.

Yeah, the PFC highlights the FTS and reads 4.98v all of the time.

I am sure that the voltage->temp is the same as the water thermosensor, since they are the same part (verified this on my car). So I would assume 4.98v would equal max temp.
