Fuel tank / fuel pump Upgrade removal

Hey there guys, I am getting to the point of installing my new fuel pump, Well I am going with a large outside of the tank pump, So I have to remove the pump assembly and get rid of all the stock lines, do you think it would be best to remove the gas tank it self to get all the lines out of there easily? I also need to dump out 1/4th of tank of gas so I can fill it up with E85 when I have the car together!!

I think most of the stock lines are "relatively" easy to get to. Get some 11" pliers and some long angle head pliers. If you find out you need to remove the gas tank, well there's that.

Gas tank isn't that hard to drop, just go ahead and do it. There is a drain plug on the tank so it's easy to get the old gas out.
