Fuel System Option

hey all, just want to see your opinion on which option i should go with and why... see picture and let me know what you guys think... i currently have Dual Denso pump, one pump go directly to primary and the other pump go to the secondary with -6AN lines... i'm thinking of doing Option 2 just in case 1 pump goes out the other still pumping... thanks guys

option 1 is not a good way to go--this is just problematic...option 2 adds some redundancy
