no check valves, personally i ran the dual -6, but some run the y back into a -8

the -6 is a 3/8 line, the -8 is 1/2, i remember there being a debate which could flow more, its not just surface area and tube size but it has to do with volumetric effiency, how much the line can flow isn’t just decided by size,,

also in the second drawing use a -10 filter, just get the orb- adapters for -8 line in to -10 … you can never have enough flow…

I run 3. -6 lines. One from each pump and the last as a return. Has worked fine for many years. However if I was doing it again I would just run one line up and one back. I had run one line years back to get rid of the stock filter so when I went dual pumps it was easier to just add another.

Im running dual bosch with seperate -6 lines. And a single -6 return on my 20b. Works great. I went with seperate lines so i knew that both fuel rails would have equal pressure, i didnt want my secondaries robbing fuel pressure from my primaries.

I run two pumps, two 6AN lines to each rail. Then 8AN back to the tank.

Also a filter before the pumps.
