Fuel Smell

Complete new mechanicals ~10kmiles ago. Recently noticed strong fuel smell in garage after shut down. replaced all fuel lines, FPD, injectors etc. I don't see leakage with a close flashlight exam. I have noticed higher injector duty cycles lately. What's the most common cause?

Search "fuel leak" or "fuel smell"

I'm sure in one of threads you find after searching will tell you to check/replace the metal check valve in the rats nest. the metal valve is for fuel evap.

Any fuel on the floor of the garage? I would check the metal valve but also just from experience I have had the o-rings after leak replacement. Gasoline runs down the side of the irons and eventually onto the floor. Just another idea.

With the key in the ON position (engine off), jumper the F/P and GND connectors in the diagnostic box. That will pressurize the fuel system so that you can diagnose leaks without the engine running. You can even check for leaks with the UIM off.
