Fuel rail line different?
So my fuel line going from the secondary to the primary fuel rails got a split. I went to search a little before I call Ray to order a replacement but there seam to be two different setups. Whats on my fd currently looks exactly like the first pic. But in the service manual I see whats on the second pic. Any one know why? So what I'm wondering is if I completely remove the high pressure clamps and line would I end up with just the two nipples one on the primary rail and the second on the secondary rail? So would that mean I can just go to any parts store and by one foot of hose some clamps and its job done?
Not exactly sure, but I would assume the first pic is what came with the car original from factory, and the second pic is after someone replaces fuel hoses and uses generic clamps...
You can just go to a car parts store and buy some quality fuel hose, cut to size, get some hose clamps and job done imho...

The second pic is how the car came from the factory. They had a recall or bulletin for fuel leakage problems, and one of the parts they changed was that hose. The one you have now is the updated version.
So now you would have to replace the whole hose assembly. It can't be disassembled and repaired.
