Fuel Pumps..
The answer to that really depends on what you plan on doing with the car, how far are you going to modify it? If you plan on keeping it close to stock, maybe with 2-3 power mods you don't need to upgrade the pump.. waste of money. Let us know some more information and we can help you better.

I've read that you don't need to upgrade your fuel pump unless you upgrade your injectors... I could be wrong, but that's what I've read here on the forum.
So with that rationale, unless you are running a PFC and are going beyond the basic BPU's(i.e. IC, DP, Cat back, Intake, and a rechipped ECU((M2 Stage 3, Pettit, etc.))) you don't really need to upgrade the FP...

No, your right jpandes. Read the fuel system info at Wade's site - http://www.newwave.net/~flanham/wlanham/ . Upgrading your Fuel Pump is not necessary until your fuel pressure starts to drop, your pressure won't drop until you install larger injectors and/or a RRFPR. But as soon as you install inj's or a FPR you will need a pump so the pump is usually the first upgrde. There's a pump comparison on that site too. I'm running the RX7.com upgraded pump which is the same as the Supra/Cosmo/Nippondenso pumps offered at other stores.
Well may transmission, differential and all that stuff is already out and my mechanic told me if I wanted to replace my fuel pump, now would be a good time since its like right there.
As for my mods, I'll be using dp,mp, catback, intake, power FC atm.. Single turbo in the future..
