Fuel pump and fuel pressure regulator question

Recently I had to replace my fuel pressure regulator. I replaced it with the stock one, bad move big $'s. Now it looks like I will also have to replace the fuel pump.

The fuel pump I am looking at is the Walbro 255lph. I was wondering what the compatibilty is like between this pump and the factory regulator. Will this work fine? or do I have to replace the fuel pressure regulator with something like the SX FPR?

Any advice would be great.

no, you should be fine with an upgraded pump on the stock ecu and regulator

I would go with another one not walbro though to be safe and more reliable
