fuel pump direct wire question
fuel pump direct wire question
Any one keep their low voltage resistor when doing the direct wire to fuel pump? I bought the sake bomb kit. I am confused why these kits eliminate this important feature. I am sure there is a reasonable explanation?
Why cant i just cut the wire. connect to the resistor. then run a wire from this resistor to my fuel pump?
Is the resistor the bottle neck or something?

Its because of HOW the relay system works and where it gets its trigger signal from. The resistor under the brake booster is the white/red wire in the diagram. If you take a look at that it will make sense.
Also would recommend watching our video on the fuel pump rewire as it may......... add some context and consideration to your install.
