The fuel pump connector is getting low voltage.
The test light shows that the fuel pump connector is receiving lower voltage than expected. Instead of a bright light, it glows dimly, indicating a possible voltage drop in the circuit. I’ve already replaced the EGI 30A fuse and swapped the fuel pump relay, but the issue persists. I suspect there may be a problem with the MAIN 120A fuse or a weak ground connection. Any suggestions on what else to check?
What are the voltage numbers with the key in the aux position (engine off) and what are the voltage numbers while cracking, also when the engine is idling. Keep in mind the relay when ignition is turn on is at the very front of the car. My advice would be to look up the fuel pump relay relocation mod which relocates the relay bypassing the two fuses I believe to the trunk area closer to the pump so the fuel pump gets a clean supply of 12V ( battery-relay-fuse-pump all in the trunk a foot away from the fuel pump), we can expect slight drop in voltage while cranking. as stated above trouble shoot and identify the problem and if you are in a pitch bypass and relocate the relay.

What voltage are you expecting to see at idle? Do you have the factory service manual, or a PDF copy?
If the car still has the original pump speed relay and fuel pump resistor and wiring, low voltage to the pump at idle is not unusual. If you're not familiar with how those work, this post has a copy of the circuit diagram: https://www.rx7club.com/3rd-generati.../#post12260207
I agree you can do a lot with an affordable multimeter. I like Lowes better than Wal-Mart, if you can find Klein Tools brand in stock I think that is a good option.
