Fuel pressure regulator

I was shopping around for a new fuel pressure regulator, since I will probably reach the bypass flow limit of my Sard in the near future. I came across one which needed to be plumbed like this:

The setup does appear to reduce the amount of hardware needed, and might be less restrictive than running bypass fuel through the rails.

Thoughts?

My .02 cents, The time it would take fuel to go from the regulator to the injectors is probably considerably longer than just bypassing it through the rails. That setup would allow the fuel to heat soak before getting injected into the engine.
