Fuel Mileage

I have had My 93 R1 for about a month now and was wondering what kind of fuel mileage I should expect? It's got a new rebuilt engine with about 3K & a new transmission. It's bone stock! My last fill was 12.5mpg on 91 oct (damm the state of CA!). That sounds a little low to me. I do a lot of city driving and open her up every once in a while.

The previous owner had the engine done and it is do for a tune up from the shop that did it. I hope that it's just a break in issue.

That's about right, city driving will get you about 12-14mpg.
