Fuel line kit from Malloy
Fuel line kit from Malloy
I called Ray Crowe to order some injector o-rings and fuel lines. He said that Mazda made a kit for this and that I should get that instead.
Here is the kit:

There are what looks to be some vacuum lines in there. Since I'm doing a silicon hose job, I'm just gonna not use them.
This whole kit was $80. One helluva deal, IMO!

No, No ...you can replace "any" of the fuel lines with silicone!
There are also some formed and very hard rubber vacuum lines which you should keep. Not hard from age and heat soak but thicker and stiffer. If you replace them then the silicone ones will kink when they twist to form the same shape as the preformed ones.

No worries...I won't put silicon anywhere where gas will be running through it. At first glance, I thought some of them were vacuum lines for the rat's nest.

Don't the thin ones connect the hard lines running under the car?
I got the leftovers of the same kit from someone, and I was going to lift the car today to see if that's what they're for.

That is the fuel line recall kit that Mazda installed on all cars. You can tell if a car has had the recall performed by looking at the short hose that goes from the primary rail to the secondary rail. If that hose has permanent crimp fittings (like the one in the pic) then it's been updated. If the hose has plain nipples with a plain rubber hose and clamps then it is original.
Yup, I have one of those. I am still pulling parts out of that bag.
For your non specialty fuel line make sure you get Fuel Injection Grade fuel hose. Most auto parts stores should have it.

Can someone verify the Mazda part number for this kit? What's printed on the label looks like: N3AI-13-570A
I can't tell for sure if the fourth character is an i or a t; picture is just a little too fuzzy.
