Fuel Level Gauge

hey guys, got a problem with my fuel level gauge. i searched the forum and see a buncha ppl have the same sorta problem. it never reads right, and hard to tell what it ever is. i thought about getting an autometer fuel level gauge, but was wondering if i might oughta take it to mazda and let them fix it. give me some some opinions guys. thanks

You can get by without it if you don't want to fix it. I had issues with my old cars fuel gauge and tried to have an auto electrician fix it, but it only worked for a few more months. I got used to relying on the trip meter, and the fuel warning light (which on that car operated independantly of the gauge, not sure if thats the same for the FD)

On any other car, I'd leave it. If it was my FD, I'd probably fix it.
