NY fuel level gauge

Hey guys I recently went 20b and went with dual tt supra pumps but left all the wiring alone for the fuel level and ran seperate wires straight through the tank for the pump power. My fuel level gauge is no longer working.. The ground on the tank is fine i checked that. Are there any wires in the front part of the harness in the engine bay that control power to the gauge. The only reason I ask is my friend started to get a little chop happy trimming my harness one day for me. It may be a coincidence but i noticed the gauge was no longer working after he did this and i reeled him in lol.. All of the other gauges on the cluster work..

This happened to me recently after I rewired the fuel pump and fixed the leaky cap on the odometer circuit board, my issue was at the cluster, reconnecting all the wire behind the cluster fixed it, not sure what happened but they were all clipped on tight and connected correctly to begin with. If you pull the pump harness out and ground the low fuel light and fuel level wire, the gauge should work. If it works then somethings wrong with the sender, if not then you have to work your way back from the harness.
