Anyone else had this problem? Gas gauge always reads 1/4 tank. Is the float stuck or what?

 

Could be. There is a baffle inside the gas tank that can come loose and jam the sender. Pull the fuel pump/float out of the tank and give it a look see.

 

Mine did the same after I changed my fuel tank. I cleaned off the ground contact that is on the top of the tank - the one on the fuel pump lid. Then it started to work again. This should be a fast an easy first step for you. Good luck.
