fuel filter relocation

Is there any reason why I couldnt relocate the fuel filter to the engine bay? I figure that if Im gonna relocate it anyway, I might as well put it in there so I dont have to crawl under the car to change it.....

thanks,
John

dont see why you couldnt....but if you put it lower in the rear...like i did and (everyone else did)...sure you have to get under the car..but it'll take you like 5 minutes to change...my nephew could do it(and he's 9)..

Really, considering how infrequently the fuel filter is changed, it's not THAT bad. Takes me about a half hour. I'd invest more time figuring out how and where to relocate it than it would take me to change it 3 times.

Neat idea, but just not worth it.

Good have a leak and have a fire . Just put it on the rear of the rear subframe where you can get to it with ease, but high enought to be out of harms way . I drilled and threaded two holes to mount the stock bracket on the subframe .The filters are threaded on each end,not push on with clamps .I can change the filter in about two minutes .
