Fuel Filter Relocation.
Hey guys just wanting to know how the hell do you get to the fuel filter on a 97 FD??? Has anyone relocated it in a more accessible place?? I can't seem to get to it any suggestions?? Help. I don't think mine has been changed since new??

Look in the advanced tech. section for some tips. It's a huge pain in the *** the first time, but once you "figure" out where everything is, it's not too bad.

uh, no, it's still an INCREDIBLE pain in the ***.....unless you just enjoy have gas spilled on yourself and cursing like Richard Pryor
relocate to the engine bay (Rob Robinette)....I have the K&N washable filter with quick connects and I can clean the filter disc with no tools in 3 minutes....you would be amazed how much crap it catches

I relocated mine to the rear subframe, between the gas tank and the diff. just use longer fuel hose, and use a pair of hose clamps to secure it. makes the change a 5 min ordeal instead of 5 hrs, lol. At Gotham, we do the relocation for the majority of our customers.
