Are you reffering to the Master cylinder or the Slave cylinder. By you saying clutch i'm guessing your talking about the slave cylinder that pushes on the clutch fork. I havnt seen anything to replace the slave cylinder, but I also cant think of any reason to upgrade. What is wrong with yours?

in the original post i said MASTER cylinder
but i want to upgrade because i was driving my friends civic, and he had an upgraded clutch MASTER cylinder, and i liked the way it felt...it was really smooth and responsive, and the travel was at a minimal.
so i was just wondering if there was any kind of upgrade for us

There isn't an upgrade for the clutch master. The 929 is for the *brake* master cylinder.

I have seen a "big release" slave cylinder in Japanese magazines, but I think it's more for VERY heavy pressure plate setups.

You can adjust the clutch pedal for a shorter throw. This does take a small amount of tweaking to really get right. Here's all you need to know about it on my site -

fyi: the v8 guys are putting wilwood master cylinders on the FD's. Do the math and find out what size bore you want inside of the clutch master and buy one. They come in all kinds of sizes. They run about $60 from summit, jegs, ect ect
