Frozen Rotor Mounting screws

Anybody have any ideas on how to remove the 2 screws on FD rotors that connect it to the hub w/o destroying them? Also where can I get these screws without having to pay top $ at the dealer. Thanks

haha. i just did that last week. go to sears and get an impact driver. it comes with a couple of phillips screw type heads. insert the phillips and grab your favorite hammer (2lb sledge) and bang the impact driver while twisting in the direction that you want the screw to turn.

Its about $20 at Sears.

Impact driver, enough said. Once you use one, you will never know how you got along without one.

If your screw are already fuct, then you will need to drill and get an easy out. Not fun.
