Question Front suspension noise while autocrossing

I have recently started to hear a noise from the front suspension area that sounds almost like a tire hitting a fender wall but more like tick-tick-tick. This occurs when I am coming out of a corner autocrossing under hard throttle. It almost sounds like the sound of a severly understeering tire, but I can feel it through the pedals and steering wheel. It is not the typical clunk some people mention.

I have the stock suspension and wheels with 245/45/R16 S03's that have never given me any other problems. I have 38,000 miles on the car and have been autocrossing for 1 season.

The only variables I can think of is that I am left foot braking now, so I am able to get on the throttle earlier at the exit of a turn.

I did some searching and checked out: http://www.scuderiaciriani.com/rx7/s...eshooting.html
I am leaning toward a wheel bearing or engine mount.

Any ideas???

The wheels aren't loose at all, no bearing slop. I guess I could pull them apart and look inside.
