I know this belongs in the Interior thread but I need help fast while I have my car apart. I just took my door panels off and found that there are no screw holes for the mounts i picked up. My car is a touring and I have regular RX-7 speaker mounts. Instead of screw hole I have these plastic locks (if you will). Hopefully someone knows what I'm talking about. How do i secure these mounts on and not make them rattle?

 

Drill the holes you need and bolt them in .I made mounts from plastic and installed Memphis 6.25 inch speakers in the doors . I did have to trim some plastic from the door panels ect .

 

I woke up this morning feeling like an idiot haha. All i need is those metal tabs from a hardware store that are threaded.
