Front plate Problem!!

So I got pulled over the other day and was issued a fix-it ticket for my RX7 1993 [R1]. I live in Los Angeles Ca. and I'm wondering if there is anyway to save my car, there is no hub in the front for a lisence plate yet the fix it ticket demands I get one placed. Is anyone certain you have to have it fixed and can't let it chill in the window. This sucks...Any lawyers wanna defend me probono for the $400 spedding ticket I got in december also?

stop being a newb. ticketassassin.com for your speeding ticket, and for your fix-it ticket find out the process by which you can get it cleared. most likely you walk in with a photo/ get your car inspected. make a cheap hub. you don't need a lawyer. ****.

If you have the stock bumper some L - shaped brackets will allow you to attach a license plate. Look underneath the bumper...the top of the radiator intake....you'll find two bolt holes. This will allow you to attach some L shaped brackets.

FDs came with a frame that bolted under the top of the radiator inlet.
Buy one from a wrecked FD or make one.

That's just too funny. Any punchline I add will be a disappointment by comparison.

Jeez, I'm glad that most FD owners don't have to go through such serious problems with their cars as you do.

Also, how do you expect to fight the ticket. Are you saying that you weren't speeding, or that the cop used some sort of trickery to catch you?

in california per vehicle code section 5200 CVC you must have a front license plate. and yes you must fix it and have it signed off by a police officer. you can't fight this one its a simple yes or no answer. "yes I had a plate properly displayed at the time of the stop " OR " no I did not have a plate properly displayed at the time of the stop".. so fix it . get it signed off and pay the fine.... look if your going to mod your car make sure all the lights and equipment are up to code so the police will not have a reason to stop you. and no you can't let the plate just chill in the window its an improper display.

I just paid the $75....I ain't running no stinkin' front plate. And to the OP...give us a freaking break! A ticket for no front plate is a "serious, serious problem"?

EDIT: fixed the thread title....
