Front ABS sensor stuck - question about removal

Replacing my springs according to the FSM. I've taken the 12mm bolt off the back of the ABS sensor and the sensor is not budging. I realize this is a very simple procedure but I don't want to damage them trying to get them out. Both sides are stuck. I have sprayed Aero-Kroil and they're soaking. Where can I pry, twist, wiggle, etc. to try and get it out. It does not really seem like the sensors need to come off to replace the springs but that is what is listed in the FSM.

OEM recommend you to remove because they are afraid of you pulling on the wire while removing the strut.

Hold the end of the sensor and twist is all I would recommend.

Spray with some PB Blaster, let soak for a bit, lightly grab it with a set of pliers and try to twist it back and forth to break the "stuckness".

Works for me every time.

Thanks guys. Aero-kroil is similar to PB blaster so it's soaking right now. I didn't mention it earlier but one of the 12mm bolts broke off and left the threads behind, that should be fun to get out. Hopefully drilling it won't be too tough and extracting with an easy-out.

I wish I had just left them in place and been careful. Live and learn.
