I SEE ROYAL PURPLE IN THE BACK GROUND..!!

Does anyone else see 3 quarts of Royal Purple oil in the back ground in the picture above? HHMMM...Valvoline or Royal Purple..? (look to the bottom right of the picture) Tony

Hehe. My father's shop, not mine. But of course I use it. And I forget what oil that is.... I believe it was just a generic 10w30 I picked up (that pic is like 3 months old). I've since been turned to the Valvoline side...

Ok it gets to a point where you can change your oil to often. Look in the manual it says every 5k in stop and go or 7.5k highway. Yes I would say change more often than that but every 1000 is a little too much IMO. Unless you are heavily modded. Again just my 2 cents.

Heavily modded alone dont mean ****.......if ur ***** footing arnd town 75% of the time. The only time anyone cld justify 1000 mile oil changes is if they RACE. PERIOD! Other than that ur just wasting $$$$

Actually my car's using more oil than it should (especially when i drive it hard) so I either add oil or change it about 1000 miles so that I can keep the oil level from being low.
