freaking coolant..
freaking coolant..
alright so i just installed my FMIC, radiator, coolant hoses and such. i went to take the car out for a quick spin to see how it ran. went about a mile down the road and turned around. now my add coolant sensor is consantly going off because the wire is disconnected, but when i got home, the temp gauge rose to the redline. turned off the car, and alot of coolant was lost, but i could see none dripping. i had this problem a few times before where i would drive it and it would just lose coolant. does this mean there is an internal coolant leak? if so, how do i check it and fix it?
Check your coolant and AST caps, check under the car for any visible leaks. Does it smoke (besides when you crank it in the morning)? Is there water leaking from under the passenger head light area?. I'm no expert but you might(maybe/probably) have a bad coolant seal already. Try searching a bit
.
Good Luck BTW

First, recheck your work on the coolant hoses.
Next, keep burping the coolant system. Fill a little coolant, squeeze the radiator hose a little, fill a little more (and so on). Run the car with the heater on full for a while... Repeat until the coolant system has purged all the air.
