Question found source of oil leak??

alright...well yesterday i was changing my oil and i noticed that on the forward housing plugs, the trailing plug boot was covered in oil and so was some of the exposed section of the plug . well my first thought was ****....lol. but then upon further inspection i found there was a brass nut witha wire coming out of it...that sits over the trailing plug and that was were the origin of the oil trail was...i just woundering what the hell it is...i will post picz later today, ( dont have a cam) just curious if any of you would know off the cuff. also i noticed im getting a little bit from my oil pressure sender unit..were it actually mates to the block as well....woopdee doo...more stuff to fix. sometimes i wonder why i even bother

well on a happy note i finally got my exhaust installed today and i must say, the ole but dyno didnt really notice a big difference...im sure once i get dp, pfc and boost controler it'll be alright..

It's your Knock sensor. They'll leak some black tar like stuff. I'm not sure how it affects its performance, but it can't be good.
