Found the source of my high idle problem!
I finally got my lower intake manifold off about an hour ago (I have probably a total of 4 hours into the job). When I took off the manifold, chunks of the lower part of the gasket actually fell out. On the front intake port, about an inch section of the gasket was compeletly gone, and about a 1/2 inch section was gone from the rear port. So both of my intake ports had huge leaks. That probably explains the 2200rpm idle
There was actually a bunch of dirty crap around the front leaking section, so I know my engine was sucking in dirty air. Hopefully it didn't cause too much damage.
Now I just have to wait on my million dollars in gaskets and coolant hoses to arrive, and I can put it back together. I also just got my HKS downpipe today, so I can't wait to get it back together
